EastEnders child star is a secret genius as mum reveals bombshell IQ

EASTENDERS’ latest young star may have taken Albert Square by storm with his portrayal of Barney Mitchell, but the teen's talents extend far beyond acting.

Lewis Bridgeman's proud mum Jayne has revealed that his is a certified genius.

At just 12 years old, Lewis passed the rigorous Mensa intelligence test.

This confirmed that his IQ is within the top 2 per cent in the entire world.

Mensa is an exclusive high IQ society that only accepts individuals who score at least 132 on their intelligence tests.

Lewis not only qualified but did so while navigating challenges like anxiety, autism, and dyspraxia.

Despite his impressive intellect, Jayne has shared that Lewis struggles with social interactions, particularly in making friends.

However, she praised his school for their unwavering support, adding: "He's come on so much."

On screen, Lewis's character has quickly become embroiled in EastEnders drama.

Barney has been introduced to Walford as Teddy Mitchell's son.

He got into serious trouble recently as Ravi Gulati became convinced that he was Avani's older boyfriend.

In reality, the Gulati girl is going out with Mason, who was unaware that he was dating a minor.

Avani came home one day with a split lip after her boyfriend tried to pressure her into having sex, and the pair got into a vicious row.
