In Tuesday's (October 22) broadcast, meteorologist Laura Tobin found herself gently teased by Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley.

The three had all attended the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday night.

Speaking on GMB, Susanna revealed Laura was present for "the entire night".

She added how Laura had arrived at the studio wearing her dress from the ceremony.

Susanna told her co-star: "I haven't yet published the photograph of you coming in this morning in your dress."

Meanwhile, Laura explained: "I made the mistake of going to my hotel and realising I had no change of clothes.

Laura then added: "Actually, like you said, it was so lovely. "I stayed for research purposes."

Fellow presenter Richard then chimed in, as he queried: "I left you at the table at just gone 10.

"What time did you leave?"

To which Laura cheekily replied: "Just a little after that, Richard."

The 43-year-old has been a mainstay on GMB since its 2014 launch after replacing Daybreak.

However, earlier this year, Laura revealed plans to make new programmes away from the breakfast show.

Speaking to she shared: “I'd love to do more shows talking about climate change.

"I’ve done some stuff with the Tonight Team looking at the multi-benefits if you want to change your diet - one thing people can do to reduce the impact of climate change is reducing food waste.

Former presenters:

"We buy food, and then we throw it away - and then that causes emissions - and that causes temperature to rise.

"So if we planned our meals, and if we freeze everything that we didn't use, and throw our scraps into the compost - that will save the planet, save us money - it’s a win-win!"
