MAFS shock as TWO couples quit the show after most difficult commitment ceremony yet

MARRIED At First Sight viewers were left gobsmacked this evening as two couples decided to leave the process.

In the tensest commitment ceremony yet Stephen Nolson and Hannah Norburn AND Orson Nurse and Richelle Cade called time on their romances – after a shock wife swap.

Last week saw Stephen try to crack on with Sionainn Carmichael, which sparked a huge row with Ryan Livesey.

Hannah meanwhile has been at the centre of a whole host of drama ever since joining the dating show, including a secret affair with groom Orson, who is married to Richelle.

Besides getting into blazing rows with her husband Stephen, Hannah has also gotten on the wrong side of a few female co-stars for 'flirting' with their husbands.

Things got even more awkward during tonight’s episode when Lacey revealed that Orson and Hannah had shared a kiss.

And perhaps not surprisingly Richelle and Orson also decided to leave as they exchanged insults on the sofa.

Those watching at home were pleased that Hannah and Stephen have called it quits.

One person commented: “Stephen you tried NOTHING.”

A second said: “Stephen has been gone for a few weeks already.”

While a third added: “Hannah you deserve more better than Stephen.”

Viewers also felt relieved that Richelle and Orson also walked.

Fans had been waiting for Orson's affair to be revealed after Richelle let slip how something had happened – after she cruelly trolled by viewers for her behaviour towards Orson.

She accused Orson of trying to recouple with another bride, telling fans: "People will see the truth. It's a waiting game."

Speaking during their exits tonight, Stephen told Hannah: ";I don’t know what the reasons are of why you are here."

She told the experts: "I think this is my opportunity to try and leave this process as amicably as I can with everybody. Whatever’s happened has happened."

The conversation between Orson and Richelle was even more awkward.

He started: "I kept trying and trying and trying, it was like squeezing blood from a stone."

But Richelle interrupted him saying: "Stop the performance Orson. If it was that bad, you would not have wanted to stay."

Turning to the experts, he said: "I want to leave, just get me out of here please."

Richelle then took a huge swipe at him before quitting, saying: "Before I came into this process, I asked for a strong, intelligent man who has integrity and I haven’t found that in Orson at all. 

"I find him quite weak willed. You really aren’t as sharp as you think you are. It’s pretty obvious I think to most people, you are a bit simple."
