HARRY Mitchell is hiding a dangerous secret from Penny Branning in EastEnders.
The pair have grown close in recent weeks on the BBC soap, much to Jack's annoyance.
However, relations between Jack and his daughter are far from great at the moment, after Jack chose to side with Chelsea Fox over his own daughter regarding the club crush drama.
In upcoming EastEnders scenes, Penny and Harry blackmail Jack, before Jack heads to The Arches to demand answers.
Harry tells Jack to agree to his blackmail terms by the end of the week or else.
Later, Jack reveals a worrying discovery to Penny, who immediately heads to The Arches to confront him.

However, he is quick to settle her concerns.
Later, outside No.27, Harry retaliates and tells Jack that the blackmail deadline has moved forward to tomorrow as a result.
His threat works and later in the week, Jack heads to The Arches and reluctantly agrees to turn a blind eye to Harry’s dodgy dealings.
Penny decided to blackmail her dad after his betrayal regarding Chelsea and the club crush.

A furious Jack demanded Chelsea go to the police and admit what happened.

Upon learning the man was not only awake but recovering, Jack rethought everything.
He called a family meeting at No.27, asking those present to vote between Chelsea and Penny.

He reasoned Penny is unlikely to face prison time - and charges would be downgraded as there were no deaths.
When the tie was drawn, Jack had the casting vote and went for "the least worst option" and chose Penny to take the fall.
Furious, Penny yelled: "What? You choose her instead of me, Dad?"
