TV star Miranda Hart’s secret husband is a building company boss, we can reveal.
The comedian, 51, disclosed last week that she had got married — but declined to name him.
Now we can reveal that she wed surveyor Richard Fairs, 60, in July last year.
The pair struck up a romance in lockdown — and celebrated their nuptials with a Hawaiian-themed party following a ceremony at a country church.
They were pictured enjoying a bike ride close to her £4million London home earlier this year.
The star — famed for her role as unlucky-in-love Miranda on the BBC sitcom — revealed this week she had secretly married having found love with the project manager, who cleared mould from her home in 2020.

In her book, I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You, she wrote: “He’s not my boyfriend. He’s my husband. We got married when I was 51.”
And then — after confirming the wedding on The One Show on Wednesday — Miranda teased her Instagram followers by posting a video in a taxi.
She showed off her gold wedding ring and said: “I just wanted to say thank you so much for the lovely messages.
“I’ve got my best friend to do life with and it’s wonderful.”

Richard, from Bristol, owns a company called The Building Consultancy.
A spokeswoman for Miranda declined to comment.
