The One Show in major shake up TONIGHT to celebrate Strictly star’s milestone birthday
THERE is going to be a huge shake-up on The One Show tonight.
One landmark former contestant of Strictly Come Dancing will celebrate a milestone birthday with a special broadcast.
Angela Rippon has graced the screens of British television for nearly six decades.
Last year she became the oldest contestant to compete on the long-running celebrity competition when she danced with Kai Widdrington.
The duo impressed viewers with their footwork and were eliminated after dancing in the infamous Blackpool Tower Ballroom in week nine.
As the veteran broadcaster celebrates her 80th birthday, The One Show is set to throw her a very special on-air birthday party.

The flagship BBC primetime show will mark her incredible 58 year career on screen as they take a look back at her early years in the business.
Alex Jones and Roman Kemp will be on hand to talk to the star about her long-lasting career and how she broke glass ceilings in the newsroom.
Archive footage will give viewers an insight into her trailblazing career in journalism.
Angela previously worked her way up from the local South West bureaus to become the first female journalist to regularly read the news on national TV.
She also dazzled viewers away from the newsroom when she made her iconic appearance on the Morecambe and Wise Christmas Special.
Her recent work in broadcasting will also be on display as she regularly champions consumers on Rip Off Britain alongside Loose Women's Gloria Hunniford.
Having authored 14 books, her passion for literature will also be highlighted in the special broadcast.
Her appearance on Strictly seemed to be a full circle moment for the star after she was the host of the BBC's original ballroom competition, Come Dancing.
She has also been the face of world famous programmes such as Top Gear, Antiques Roadshow, The Eurovision Song Contest and many royal events.
In 2011 she was also chosen by bosses to skate on ITV's Dancing On Ice, but she was sadly eliminated in the first week.
