Kerry Katona ‘scared to go out’ after being robbed of ‘thousands’ in broad daylight
KERRY Katona has been left terrified after being robbed in broad daylight while on a romantic trip with fiancé Ryan Mahoney.
The former Atomic Kitten star had thousands of pounds worth of goods taken from her when she left her bags with a hotel concierge.
Writing in New! Magazine, Kerry explained: "I was robbed in London while staying in a hotel in Mayfair last week – I couldn’t believe it, I have the worst luck.
"Ryan and I were checking in to the hotel, which I won’t name, and since our room wasn’t ready we left our bags with the concierge and grabbed some lunch.
"I left my Gucci holdall with them which had all my medication in it for my back and chronic pain, the phone I use for my banking apps, my earphones and much more."
The Gucci bag alone that was stolen costs more than £1,200 to buy – meaning the thug made off with over £2,500 worth of goods including her spare phone and clothes.

The star added that she noticed a man "acting strangely in the lobby" but didn't want to judge, only for CCTV to confirm he had taken the bags after the pair had left.
"It was so triggering for me and I did feel emotional afterwards, it’s just so scary to think you’re not safe," she said.
"Thankfully, Ryan and I are OK and things can be replaced, it’s just frustrating and scary."
"I don’t understand how people can wake up and decide to do these things, it’s awful," said Kerry.
"When things like this happen it makes me scared to go out as I don’t want to be targeted."
The news comes as a fresh blow for Kerry, who has just quietly shut down her online store, Kerry's Boutique.
Launching the business in 2020, it was something that helped the star get out of debt after she was declared bankrupt twice.
Since that point, she has turned her life around, becoming a millionaire thanks to her thrifty nature and business opportunities.
It's allowed her to afford some of the finer things in life, including luxury goods like Rolex watches.
