FORMER Love Island star Zara McDermott has landed a brand new BBC documentary as she continues to work with the broadcaster after the Strictly scandal.
The media personality will be working with BBC Three on a hard-hitting new two-part documentary exploring the impact of stalking.
In the programme, Zara will be coming face-to-face with current victims of stalking for the brave new commission.
In the show, the reality TV star will see first-hand the true impacts of stalking and how it adversely effects the everyday lives of victims.
It will also see Zara accompany those as they bravely decided to report the instances to the police and how the cases make it through the justice system.
Filmed over ten months, the two-part series sees Zara follows the victims' stories all the way as well as seeing how the police force handle the crimes in a bid to understand why the conviction rate remains low.
More on Zara McDermott
Speaking about signing up to front the series, Zara said: “I, like many others, know people who have been affected by stalking.
"I really want to witness the real impact of stalking on people's lives as they deal with the stress, fear and process of reporting these crimes to the police.
"I want to look at what can be done to support them and bring their stalkers to justice."
Nasfim Haque, the Head of Content at BBC Three, added: “In this two-part series, Zara McDermott witnesses firsthand the profound impact stalking has on its victims as they live through it.

"Due to the highly sensitive nature of these cases, Zara and the small production team are approaching the upcoming filming process with extreme care and discretion.
"Over an extended filming period, they are working closely with charities and advocates to illuminate how this increasingly prevalent behaviour is affecting young people today."
Details on when the series is set to air are expected to be announced in due course.
It comes after Zara made a high-profile return to Strictly Come Dancing as she sat in the audience in week one of this year's current series.
The star's time on Strictly was tainted after getting caught up in the show's explosive scandals.
Viewers were left shocked earlier this year when Graziano Di Prima was sacked for "gross misconduct" after footage emerged showing his treatment of Zara.
The former Love Island star was left traumatised by the incident which came as bosses probed claims Giovanni Pernice had bullied Amanda Abbington.
Execs at the Beeb were understood to have been left delighted by her return to the show and suggested it had helped “lift the cloud” hanging over the show.
Zara has fronted a series of programmes for BBC Three including hosting a show around the dark side of Ibiza's lifestyle earlier this year.
