YOLANDE Trueman is set for a harrowing twist in EastEnders as she learns her attacker has taken his own life.
Yolande (Angela Wynter) and Patrick (Rudolph Walker) are stunned when police reveal Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) has died by suicide.
Earlier this year, she bravely opened up about her sexual assault at the Pastor's hands.
Although Yolande reported the villain to police, there initially wasn't enough evidence.
However, things had started to look up when police decided to charge him with two counts of assault.
Prior to the villain's death, Yolande is hesitant about attending the Harvest Festival celebrations.

As Patrick tries to convince her, DS Amartey (Eva Fontaine) arrives, revealing another woman has come forward in the case against Pastor Clayton.
In the meantime, Yolande is inspired by Amy's (Ellie Dadd) strength and heads to the Community Centre.
Things soon sour, however, as the Pastor's wife Stella (Velile Tshabalala) arrives.
Asking Yolande to retract her statement, Stella soon receives some home truths.

Later, Pastor Clayton interrupts Yolande at home and demands to speak with her.
After asking his victim to change her statement, he is left reeling upon realising she won't.
He swiftly leaves after Denzel (Jaden Ladenga) arrives and marches him out.
Patrick, Howie (Delroy Atkinson) and Kim (Tameka Empson) are shocked to learn about what happened - but it's clear Yolande has found strength by standing up for herself.
Shortly afterwards, she learns of Pastor Clayton's suicide which changes everything.
With the storyline spanning several months, horrifying scenes in April saw the Pastor sexually assault Yolande following previous over-familiar behaviour.
She struggled to stop herself from breaking down and rushed into the launderette in the aftermath.
Since the assault, Yolande sought justice and became aware of other women targeted by Pastor Clayton.
