The British actor made his television acting debut as Alex Walker during series 5 of the children’s show.

The now-26-year-old joined the main cast of The Dumping Ground alongside Connor Byrne and Miles Butler-Hughton

In the show Alex is shown as a troubled boy who has had a tough start in life as it takes a while for him to settle in when he first arrives.

Before he arrived at The Dumping Ground he was living on the streets and homeless and begging for money and food showing the audience the harsh realities for children in care.

Since his time on the show the actor looks completely different from his younger self adopting a mullet style hairdo which he dyed bright blonde and thick moustache.

Connor became a long-standing cast member of the show leaving in series 7 after his character left the home to become a chef.

Before his television debut he starred in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical.

And like many of his child co-stars he also featured on an episode of the BBC programme Casualty in 2017.

The actor was also a huge part of the CBBC channel and featured on the weekly show Saturday Mash-Up alongside dumping ground co-star Anabelle Davis.

He starred alongside Dani Harmer, who is famed for playing high-spirited teen Tracy Beaker in the foster home.

Based on Jacqueline Wilson's book series, the original Story of Tracey Beaker followed orphan Tracy and her pals in a children's home, first hitting screens in 2002.

It has gone on to become one of the most popular franchises of all time, with six books, three TV series, a number of successful spin-offs and even a television movie.

Since his stint on the hit CBBC show Connor has gone on to ditch the TV screen and is now trying his hand at comedy.

Connor is currently apart of comedy duo thepityackers who are set to launch their podcast this month.

Connor in a post on Instagram about his latest career move, wrote the caption: "So here we are… we all know the world needs another podcast, so we thought we’d oblige. Here are some things we want to achieve by doing so!
1.) Get quality guests on (make money).
2.) Have insightful conversations (while making money).
3.) Spending quality time together (only if we make money).
4.) Get a sponsorship deal with Greggs (make money and get sausage rolls).
5.) Have our own studio (need money)."

The Dumping Ground star is also apart of a comedy-sketch series called Metroland.

The show was shown live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and even made it onto Rolling Stones Magazine for the top 12 stand-out shows at the event.
