CORONATION Street fans are sounding the alarm as they believe Cassie Plummer has a twisted plot up her sleeve.

Cassie, played by Claire Sweeney, made her debut on the cobbles in 2023 as Tyrone Dobbs' estranged mother.

Since then she’s become a prominent figure in Weatherfield.

Her most recent storyline had her growing closer to one of Coronation Street's most iconic characters, Ken Barlow.

After Ken experienced a serious fall, the Barlow family needed help but found professional care too costly.

As a result they hired Cassie to look after him, despite her lack of qualifications.

Cassie quickly established a bond with Ken, and their friendship seemed genuine at first.
