Sky News presenter axed by bosses months after controversial on air comments
A SKY News presenter has been axed by bosses - months after her controversial comments were aired.
The 24-hour rolling news channel has terminated the contract of Belle Donati.
It comes after Belle compared the Israel-Gaza war to the Holocaust during a live show in January.
The anchor's comments were made whilst she was speaking to UN ambassador Danny Danon.
At the time Sky News bosses were forced to issue an on air apology for Belle's remarks.
It's now been revealed Belle's contract with Sky has not been renewed and she won't return to air.

When contacted by The Sun, a spokesperson for Sky News declined to comment.
After the incident, presenter Jonathan Samuels - who was hosting after her stint earlier in the day - read out a grovelling apology.
He said: “In an interview earlier today with Israeli politician Danny Danon, a Sky News presenter made a comparison between Mr Danon’s comments on Israel’s war with Hamas and the treatment of Jewish people in the Holocaust.
“Sky News recognized the complete inappropriateness of this comparison and the offensive nature of those comments.
