COMEDIAN Ricky Gervais saw fortunes in his production company rocket to £8.4million last year — but paid himself a dividend of just £482.
He had taken £3.85million out of Derek Productions the previous year.
But The Office creator, 63, was content with his piddling payday for the year ending November 2023, according to accounts filed at Companies House last week.
Over the year, Derek Productions’ reserves rose by £4million to £8.4million.
His other businesses, including Red Lion 100 — now worth £14.4million — went up another £1million, bringing his wealth in UK companies to £30million.
The surge in earnings meant that Derek Productions, named after one of his shows, was hit with a corporation tax bill of almost £1million.
