TANWEN Evans is a Welsh violinist who was married to Go Compare superstar Wynne Evans.

Who is Wynne Evans ex-wife Tanwen?
Unlike her husband, much of Tanwen has kept much of her personal life private.
However, we do know that she is a violinist who trained at the prestigious Royal College of Music.
Since graduating, she has played with many orchestras such as the Welsh Sinfonia, National Symphony Orchestra and New Queen's Hall Orchestra.
Her husband, Wynne, rocketed to fame with a series of financial service adverts that featured him as an Italian tenor character.

When did Wynne Evans marry Tanwen?
The ex-couple first met when they were both on the same British Youth Orchestra course and it was Tanwen that made the first move.
She got Wynne's attention by putting a note in his pigeonhole and soon the couple went on a date.
Wynne said that he later proposed in Cardiff Central station, popping the question as Tanwen stepped off the train.

The couple then tied the knot in 1999.
When did Wynne Evans and Tanwen get divorced?
Wynne and Tanwen decided to get divorced in 2016.
The couple had been married for 17 years before finally deciding to separate.
The pair kept much of their divorce private, but Wynne said that he went "through the worst depression" at the time.
He said that, even though he felt suicidal, he felt that he had to put up a front while hosting his local radio station in Wales.
Wynne told WalesOnline: "The strapline of my show is, 'cheering Wales up by one o'clock,' but I was going through the worst depression, clinical depression.
"I would think about [suicide], I would try and action it... I couldn't see a way out; I couldn't see a way of ever being happy again."
Do Wynne Evans and Tanwen have children together?
The couple have two children together, but they made efforts to keep both of them out of the public eye.
They have two kids, a daughter named Ismay and son called Taliesin.
Taliesin is a traditional Welsh name, honouring their family's heritage.
Taliesin means "radiant brow" and is the name of a Fourth Century Welsh bard.
Ismay, on the other hand, is a name with an English and French origin meaning "esteemed".

Wynne referenced his children when he won Celebrity Masterchef in 2023.
He said: "The kids will love this, they’ll be like 'Dad! I can’t believe you did it when all you cook for us is beans on toast!'".
