Susanna Reid left fuming as guest takes shock swipe at her during return to GMB
SUSANNA Reid was left fuming after a high-profile guest delivered a cutting blow during her Good Morning Britain comeback.
The ITV presenter, 53, returned to screens today after nearly two months away from the show.
But Susanna was left furious after comedian Jimmy Tarbuck, 84, arrived on the Good Morning Britain set.
Jimmy, who is set to tour the UK with his brand new stage show, opened up on his family's secret nickname for her.
He referred to her former GMB co-host Piers Morgan, 59, in the somewhat backhanded remark and said: "Do you know what my kids called you?
"Think of the guy you worked with a lot, used to.

"You're him… in a wig. Piers Morgan in a wig."
He then quickly clarified: "Oh no, that's a compliment!"
Susanna, who was clearly shocked, the replied: "Oh I'm glad you pointed that out as a compliment because I'm not sure that sounds like a compliment!"
Piers presented GMB from 2015 to 2021.
He dramatically quit the show in March 2021 following a huge on-air row with co-star Alex Beresford over his comments on Meghan Markle.
At the time ITV released a statement to confirm that he had left the breakfast programme.
Jimmy's nickname, meanwhile, is no doubt referring to the pair's dogged interview techniques.
Susanna was left choking back tears earlier in the episode, as she spoke to a grieving mother whose teenager had been brutally murdered with a sword.
She admitted "it makes me feel sick" as she and co-presenter Ed Balls, 57, tackled the hugely emotional interview.
The Good Morning Britain favourites were chatting to Pooja Kanda, who lost 16-year-old son Ronan in 2022 when he was murdered in a case of mistaken identity.
The schoolboy - who Pooja described as "charismatic" - was stabbed with a Ninja sword as he walked down the street in Wolverhampton listening to his music.

In the ITV daytime studio, producers had brought a host of huge knives which were displayed in a cabinet during the discussion.
As they arrived on-set, Susanna confessed: "It makes me feel sick.
"I feel sick just being in the presence of them."
