MARRIED At First Sight UK will soon return with the ninth series of the E4 relationship experiment.
Last year’s series of MAFS UK was the most dramatic yet, with Ella Morgan cheating on Nathanial Valentino with fellow groom JJ Slater - who is now rumoured to be engaged to Katie Price.
As well as love triangles, Luke Worley was axed from the show after a physical altercation with Jordan Gayle.
Now a fresh group of brides and grooms are ready to take the plunge and marry a total stranger on TV - but will they find their happily ever after?
The brides
Emma, 31
Sales manager from Bristol
Emma previously documented her hunt for love on her ‘Man of the Month’ blog, which saw her date a different guy each month.

She’s a kickboxer and has been starring in beauty pageants since she was six. Sacha was even named Miss Birmingham in 2018.
She said: “A red flag to me is someone not liking cats. I was always told never to trust a man that doesn’t like cats.”
Kristina, 31
Dow walker from East Sussex
Kristina has struggled to meet anyone new due to living in a small seaside town where “everyone knows everyone”.
She suffers from premenstrual dysphoric disorder [PMDD] and wants to find a “tall, dark, cheeky chappy” who can support her with her symptoms.
Kristina said: “I wanted to sign up because I felt like I was ready to meet the love of my life.”
Eve, 31
Lifeguard and fitness instructor from Omagh
Fitness fanatic Eve’s first serious relationship was with a man and she was even due to get married at one point.
But at 26 Eve realised she was gay and has had one serious relationship since then. She’s now ready to find her special someone.
Eve said: “I want to find somebody that I fall in love with and I want somebody to fall in love with me.”
Holly, 29
Beautician from Huddersfield
Single mum-of-two Holly had her first child when she was 16 - and didn’t discover she was pregnant until 37 weeks.
While Holly has no trouble getting dates she’s struggled to find a lasting connection, and wants someone “cheeky, masculine and charming”.
She said: “I want to gain love, work on myself as well, and learn how to trust again.”
Charlie, 30
Lettings operations coordinator from Surrey
Charlie says coming out as gay at 25 was “one of the most significant moments” in her life.
She’s been single for four years following a difficult break up and hopes the MAFS experts will help her find more than a ‘situationship’.
She said: “I’m at the age now where I want to settle down.”
Richelle, 48
Head of alternative investments from London
Richelle was born in Guyana and moved with her family to the UK when she was two.
She’s a politics graduate and a successful businesswoman and Richelle - who has a grown up daughter - insists she won’t settle for less.
Richelle said: “It’d be nice to, when I look back at my life when I’m older, say I’ve had a once in a lifetime experience.”
Polly, 28
Careers advisor from Kent
Polly has been single for seven months after an on/off relationship and wants the experts to match her with a “beefcake tradesman”.
She comes from a large family but wants to start building a life of her own.
Polly said: “I’m excited to go into the unknown, to have things that aren’t in my control and to just go into it open minded.”
Lacey, 27
Office manager from Hertfordshire
Lacey is a “miracle” IVF baby and has a twin sister she’s incredibly close to. But any potential man won’t just have to impress Lacey’s sister but also her mum.
She was previously in a decade-long relationship but has been single for four years.
Lacey said: “I’d love to get a husband. I’m thinking long-term, so husband, babies, travel, then move in together.”
The grooms
Adam, 33
Barber from Nottingham
Adam claims he’s never been in love before or been in a relationship with someone he sees a future with.
He says he’s ready for a “movie magic” romance but has some very high standards to overcome.
Adam said: “I would love the happily ever after.”
Alex, 28
Aviation operations from Birmingham
Self-described “man about town” Adam wants to get rid of his reputation and find a serious relationship.
Any potential wife will have to be good enough for him to bring home to the most important person in his life: his mum.
Adam said: “Maybe the experts can help me work out where I’ve been going wrong.”
Caspar, 34
Head gardener from New Forest
Caspar quit the London rat-race to relocate to the countryside with his two dogs, where he works as a gardener.
He’s never had a serious relationship which he puts down to struggles with his confidence.
Caspar said: “I want the wife. I want the 2.4 kids, white picket fence. I hope this process does that for me.”
Kieran, 28
Mechanic from Newcastle
Geordie Kieran previously joined the circus to train as a clown, before returning to work as a mechanic.
He now lives in a caravan in a picturesque woodland with his dog Hugo.
