Love Islander Tasha Ghouri paired with returning Strictly pro as BBC make major shake-up to show for 20th anniversary
STRICTLY’S returning pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec is being paired with Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri, The Sun can reveal.
The couple were unveiled yesterday as bosses try to bring the “feel-good factor” back to the show after a string of scandals and amid a bullying probe.
Aljaz, who quit the show in 2022, will partner celeb Tasha, who is 4/1 to win when the series begins again next month.
And pro Amy Dowden — whose return was confirmed yesterday after a cancer battle — has also landed a big star with dance experience who is expected to reach the final.
A source told The Sun: “Strictly execs want to produce the most incredible, warm and fluffy show possible.
“There can be no scandal.

“They want to create moments that win awards, not land complaints.”
Nadiya Bychkova and TV host Nick Knowles may also be paired.
They were pictured filming together this week.
Amy was forced to pull out of the last Strictly series after being diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.
Tests have shown she is now clear.
The ongoing internal probe centres on bullying claims against Sicilian pro Giovanni Pernice, who has denied the claims and quit.
Graziano Di Prima was also axed for kicking his celeb dance partner.
