MARTINE McCutcheon has taken a swipe at her ex Jack McManus with a cryptic quote about ‘needing’ to split.
The former EastEnders actress announced her split from singer husband Jack McManus last week.
Meanwhile, Love Actually star Martine, 48, has been sharing pictures from her trip to Marbella with son Rafferty, as well as quotes.
And a recent cryptic quote shared by Martine appeared to be a dig at her marriage to Jack.
It read: “I didn’t have the year I wanted, I had the year I needed.
“I grew so much this year and for that I am grateful.”

It appears Martine is still wearing a ring on her wedding finger, after sharing photos from her and her son’s holiday.
Taking to Instagram, she captioned a post of the duo: "Love these pics of us on our last night in Marbella".
In some photos, a ring can be seen on Martine's wedding finger, on her left hand.
On August 22, Martine revealed her marital split through an social media update - and confirmed it had been Jack's decision.
She wrote in her Instagram stories: "After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it's best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision.
"We are both so very blessed and grateful for our beautiful, 9 year old son Rafferty, whose happiness and welfare, has always been, and will continue to be, our number one priority.
"We both of course, still cherish and look forward to being parents together to our wonderful boy for the rest of our lives...
"Whilst this decision has evolved over a period of time, we are still finding our new way forward as a family and kindly ask for some privacy at this time..."
Martine added: "Our love for Rafferty is something that will never waver or change and we obviously want to protect him and help him feel as safe and secure as possible."
Meanwhile, Jack insisted he had nothing more to add to Martine's words.
Speaking to the he said: “There is nothing more to add. I will not be saying anything more about this.”
