GARDENERS' World viewers have blasted the BBC show over an ‘outrageous’ segment during Friday night's instalment.
Fans were less than impressed just seconds in to the recent episode of the programme.
With the end of summer fast approaching, presenter Monty Don returned to our screens to share tips for the upcoming colder months.
But many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out that the shots of the gardens at the start of the episode were "outrageous" as they look nothing like their own.
One said: “The budget for this garden must have been what it costs to build most people's houses. And those tree ferns will need to be kept wet with a hosepipe. It's very beautiful. But is it just me? I find this rather depressing.”
“The amount of money required to do half of this stuff is outrageous. Show something more realistic and practical please BBC,” a second fumed.

A third chimed in: "I do love a green garden but the sheer amount of money that one must have cost makes me feel sad."
A fourth questioned: "I wonder how much that all cost."
Earlier this month Monty shared a behind-the-scenes secrets of the show.

In a recent post there were three crew members standing by equipment outside, however his golden retriever Ned was in the middle looking at the camera.
Monty made light of the situation as he captioned the image: "Ned with his best friend."
Days before Monty left fans in bits with a poignant social media post.
His fans were heartbroken when he announced the passing of his beloved Golden Retriever, Nell, last year.
The presenter is proud owner of pooches Ned, and Patti, and recently shared a snap of Ned running through a wildflower meadow.
Many rushed to the comments section to share the love, with one writing: "I love seeing Ned but I have to admit that I miss seeing sweet Nellie."
Monty welcomed the new member of his tribe in 2022 after he lost his previous pooch Nigel.
