EMILY In Paris is back on our screens but fans have noticed this one issue that they can't ignore.
The Netflix smash hit – famed for its love triangles and bold fashion choices – returned for season four part one last week.
The series catches up with Emily (played by Lily Collins) as she deals with discovering crush Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) is in love with her.
But this is complicated further after the season three finale discovery that he is now also expecting a baby with his ex Camille (Camille Razat).
As Emily tries to decide what she wants out of the relationship, especially as she is still attached to the dapper British Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), the character decides to focus more on work.
But as she continues to navigate the city of love, fans have noticed one major issue with the character - and that is, despite being in France for over a year in the timeline of the show, she still doesn't know any French.

The American expat has been seen attempting to learn the language, even attending classes in season two (where she met Alfie) but ultimately the efforts have disappeared.
This means those around her are still having to speak English, even though it's not their native language, and they're working for a French fashion company in France.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), fans have slammed Emily for not making more of an effort with her colleagues.
One fan wrote: "The worst thing about Emily in Paris is knowing that Lily Collins actually knows how to speak french but f****g Emily only speaks english in France.
