Strictly fans shocked as they find out Pete Wicks’ ‘real age’ ahead of show launch
TOWIE stalwart Pete Wicks has stunned Strictly Come Dancing fans after his real age was revealed.
The tattooed hunk, who is much-loved by ITVBe viewers and reality telly fans alike, has left the dance show's following gobsmacked after his exact birth date came to light.
After the Strictly Come Dancing celebrity line-up was revealed in full, fans took to Reddit in their droves to call out Pete.
One took to the forum site to suggest: "Pete Wicks is defo below 35 and JB probably just about."
Yet Pete - often dubbed Pirate Pete by TOWIE fans - is actually 36.
This prompted one Reddit user to confirm: "Pete Wicks is 36, and JB Gill is 37."

Another user then gushed: "What? No way! God everyone’s older than I think."
A show fan then added: This has shocked me! I was like you with there ages."
Pete found fame for his wild love life during his time on TOWIE.
He found fame in 2015 when he joined the cast, and promptly saw sparks fly with Jess Wright.
After putting pen to paper on his Strictly deal, Pete was then seen getting close with show pro Jowita Prysztal.
The duo were spotted smiling as they took a break from the intense training sessions.
Former Glitterball champ Jowita, who won the show with wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin in 2022, jokingly pointed a finger at the star and they beamed as they posed together for a photo on the balcony.
The stunning dancer, who previously dated Giovanni Pernice, wore a green sports bra and matching cycle shorts, while long-haired Pete was in his customary black tee and jeans.
It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed he had signed up.

“Pete is also going to attract younger viewers who have followed his career since Towie.”
Previously Pete has appeared on Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and The Real Full Monty – where he stripped naked for charity.
