GMB fans praise Trisha Goddard for hosting debut as they demand presenter shake-up
FANS have praised Trisha Goddard after she made her Good Morning Britain presenting debut today.
The 66-year-old, who shot to fame in the 90s with her eponymous chat show, filled in for Kate Garraway during Tuesday's episode of GMB.
Trisha presented alongside Richard Madeley and it wasn't long before viewers delivered their verdicts on social media.
Many rushed to praise the iconic host - and some even called for her to replace Kate, 57, and her co-host Susanna Reid.
One wrote: "I am loving Trisha presenting on GMB!"
Another said: "Can i just say having Trisha on is fantastic. She bloody knows what she's talking about. Get rid of Kate Garraway."

Someone else wrote: "Petition to replace Susanna Reid with Trisha."
And a fourth added: "Trisha is a terrific presenter."
Trisha's chat show was axed in 2010 and towards the end of its run she was diagnosed with and beat breast cancer.
But this year she revealed it returned in 2022.
She confirmed that although it was treatable, it had spread to another part of her body and was no longer curable.
Trisha said: "With that knowledge comes grief and fear.
"But I must keep enjoying what I have always enjoyed."
Susanna, 53, is currently on her summer break from GMB and confirmed she will return to screens in September.
