LOVE Island's Paige Thorne was slammed by fans over a "dangerous mission" which left her completely soaked and fearing for her life.
The Welsh lass, 26, told how getting caught up in a storm while in the sea in Florida was one of "the most scariest but exciting moments."
Yet fans of the ITV2 star - who worked as a paramedic before starring on the matchmaking series - weren't as enthusiastic.
Paige uploaded a clip showing her posing on the sands in a blue patterned bikini, with the sunshine clearly visible in the background.
Yet things took a turn as the Love Island alumni paddled in the shallow water and she told the camera: "Guys its about to storm while I'm on this thing," referring to her paddleboard.
She continued: "It's going to be insane, hopefully I don't die."

She then captured herself paddling away as the skies switched to a murky grey.
The NHS worker added: "Argh thunder," before showing how the conditions had worsened to sweep her to the shore.
Paige was then seen completely soaked and being battered by the storm as she covered her mouth in shock.
As she retreated to some trees for shelter she said: "Guys that was insane I was stuck out there.

"And it's still ... look.
"Your girl was in that fighting for her f**king life. Exhilarating."
She rounded off her clip and said: "That was the most exhilarating thing I've done in my life - highly recommend."
In her caption, she added more detail about the high octane feat and put: "I didn’t realise this was something that was on my bucket list of experiences until it happened. The most scariest but exciting moments ever!!
"Obviously I understand that it’s super dangerous so please no one actually go and attempt this.
Love Island All Stars 2025 rumours
Love Island All Stars will be back for its second series in 2025 - and rumours are already rife as to who will be making a comeback this time around.
After the second All Stars series was announced in May, show boss Mike Spender said: "Lots of people have been in contact about it, lots of fun people, from series one onwards.
"We cast it because we knew what was going on behind the scenes of who was getting with who and now even more stories have come out.
"I think we will now save ex-islanders for All Stars."
One rumoured name for the next series is data engineer Harry Baker.
Harry, 25, arrived in the villa as a bombshell in Series 11. He soon 'stole' Grace Jackson after making his debut.
Arriving late in the run, he only lasted for a few days before being dumped alongside Lola Deloca.
Despite the hunk's brief stint, viewers have called for Harry's return.
One upset fan wrote: "Get you in All Stars next", to which Harry cryptically replied by posting 'shrugging' emojis.
"My stupid head just didn’t anticipate that the storm would actually hit the water."
One fan was quick to comment on the scary situation and put: "Well done but dangerous mission."
A second put: "Omg Paige are you real or what you put years on me," as a third posted: "Crazy! I’d be terrified."
Another noted: "Crazy how blue sky and suddenly that storm - pleased your safe."
One then sarcastically put: "Oh yes better film it."
Paige picked up on the remark and put: "Because it didn’t really happen if u don’t film it duhhhh."
