CORONATION Street fans have been left in an absolute rage as they slammed one of the current ITV storylines.
In recent weeks, viewers have watched Joel Deering (Calum Lill) plot to get rid of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) once and for all.
In previous episodes, Joel has been lying to his fiance, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) on the long-running ITV soap.
He has had Lauren hauled up in his flat, despite the fact that Dee-Dee thinks he has moved in with her.
A package of medication arrived, which Joel explained was for one of his clients.
In reality, it was actually to terminate Lauren's pregnancy, as she was carrying his baby.

After he crushed the tablets and mixed the contents in with the tomato soup she drank, Lauren gave birth two months early.
This was after she disappeared - thanks to Joel - and Roy (David Neilson) was wrongly imprisoned for her murder.
However, fans are not happy with the Coronation Street storyline at all, as they took to social media in droves.
On the fan forum site Reddit, one viewer created an angry new thread where they complained about how long the storyline has been on-screen.

In the description, they fumed: "I tuned into Corrie tonight after missing it for a few nights, and it’s STILL on Lauren and Joel. How long do we have to watch this drivel??!"
It seems other fans could not help but agree, as a second fan echoed: "Bringing Lauren back just to loop her straight into the position she was originally in - stuck in a flat, no agency, people worrying about her, being abused, etc. - is entirely redundant and makes the whole second half of this story feel like a complete repeat of what came before."
Meanwhile, a third asked: "Are they deliberately keeping the long term characters away for a reason? Hardly see most of them."
As a fourth user stated: "If there’s one thing I dislike about modern Corrie it’s this obsession about dragging things out draining every last ounce out of a story. It’s not needed."
And a fifth fan added: "Buckle in - it's going to be lauren and joel for a while."
