Born on September 10, 1991 in Manchester, Matt Sarsfield is a English former rugby player.
He played as a second row forward for the Swinton Lions.
Matt appeared on Celebs Go Dating together with his girlfriend Charlotte Dawson.
The couple shared a heartwarming moment on the show, when Matt poured his heart out to her at dinner.

On/off romance
Charlotte and Matt have been in an on off relationship since 2016.
Shortly after their appearance on Celebs Go Dating in 2020, the couple broke up.
Despite their efforts to rekindle their romance on the show, Charlotte moved out in March 2020.
However, the pair worked through their issues and reconciled soon after.

Getting engaged
Matt proposed to Charlotte in September 2020, a few months before the birth of their first son Noah.
The engagement took place in front of the Les' statue in Lytham, Lancashire.

The statue was build in memories of Charlotte's father late comedian Les Dawson, 15 years after his death.
The comedian died in 1993 during a routine hospital appointment from a heart attack.
Charlotte was only eight months old when he passed away.
Four years after they got engaged, it was leaked that Matt was sending "secret dirty texts" to another woman.

Charlotte was left heartbroken from the news, and shared a statement about the accusations, stating that her main priority at the moment are her two sons.
The statement read: "I've had loads of messages regarding mine and Matthew's relationship and I wanted to just be honest with all of you as I navigate through this.
"I was in complete shock and devastated.
"Whilst so many of you have been kind and caring, there have been a number of people that have said I've sold this story for money.
My only focus right now is on my beautiful boys as they are my main priority.

"This is completely false and I would never do this to my family or myself.
"The story was sold by the girl and I have no idea who she is.
"I'm extremely hurt, upset and disappointed about the situation.
"It's hard enough going through something like this in private, let alone publicly.
"My only focus right now is on my beautiful boys as they are my main priority.
"Thank you to everyone who has shared their love and support. It doesn't go unnoticed."
However, the couple have worked through their problems and are now back together.

Meet the kids
Charlotte and Matt have two children together.
Their first son Noah was born in January 2021 and their second son Jude on July 30, 2023.
The couple shared the birth of their son Noah with their fans on the reality TV show Celebrity Bumps.
