STACEY Solomon has been given a warning from concerned fans after spending months building a pond at her home.
The mum-of-five has been renovating her garden to build a pond at her home, dubbed Pickle Cottage, since welcoming two ducklings, Daisy and Delilah, to her family in May.
During that time, she has added two more adopted ducks to her collection, so has got to work building a pen and somewhere for them to spend their days.
In a new video on Instagram, Stacey tracked the incredible effort behind the creation of the pond and a pen for the animals, which the family have built themselves.
The result is a stunning pond surrounded by plants and white rocks, with the clip showing her four ducks playing in the water.
The proud Sort Your Life Out star wrote: “Pickle Cottage Pond is complete. The home of Daisy, Delilah & our new adopted ducks Daphne & Delphine!

“The grass needs to settle in still but omg I’m so so proud!
"We built this pond ourselves & it’s been a labour of love.
"This was the hardest pickle cottage project so far, but was worth EVERY single second!”
Stacey, who roped in husband Joe Swash to help with the work, added: “Months of hard work and the happiness on those ducks’ beaks is EVERYTHING!

“Couldn’t have done it without my brother in law, he helped so much & shared all of his pond expertise & Joe helping me with the endless fence painting.
“Yes the pond is green, we were going to put a filter in & we might still but the ducks love it so we might just let it be full of algae for now.”
Dozens of fans praised her for a job well done, calling her efforts “inspiring” and “beautiful”.
However others worried she hadn’t thought her plans through for the long-term, and it could result in problems on the property.
One fan wrote: “You're so naive to think it's going to stay like that.
"The ducks will destroy it...they will eat the plants, the white gravel will be covered in duck s***, and the water will rapidly emit a foul smelling odour.
“I know this because for several years a wild duck nested in the pond area of the school I worked at.
Why be so negative towards Stacey? She knows ducks poo so the area won't stay clean

"What was once very lush and green quickly became an area we couldn't use for the children any longer.”
A second wrote: “I totally agree.
“I grew up on a farm with dozens of different animals and can confirm ducks are the filthiest and smelliest animals we owned.
“Also my favourite but they will destroy all plants, grass and pond will 100% stink.”
A third noted: “I had pet ducks trust me they are filthy and wreck small ponds, i love ducks but couldn’t tolerate the mess ever again."
However, others were quick to shut down the negativity, responding in defence of Stacey and running: “Calm down negative nelly. Clearly, you haven't seen how handy Stace is with a pressure washer.

"Then she will add a filter to the water, and all will be good in the world again! Do you need a hug?”
Another Stacey supporter urged: “Why be so negative towards Stacey?”
“Personally, don't think she's being naive.
"She knows ducks poo so the area won't stay clean & just cause a wild duck destroyed the area at the school u worked at doesn't mean these 4 beauties will do the same.”
