AN EastEnders legend has landed a huge role in the new Star Trek movie.
Rob Kazinsky, who played Sean Slater on Albert Square between 2006 and 2022, was announced as in Star Trek: Section 31.
He will star alongside Michelle Yeoh and Omari Hardwick in the new film which is connected to the recent Star Trek: Discovery series.
According to IMDB, it's intended to be the first real TV movie in the franchise and part of producer Alex Kurtzman's expanded Star Trek Universe.
A self-confessed Star Trek fan, Rob was thrilled when he first announced he'd landed the job in January this year.
He shared a selection of snaps of his fellow cast-members and wrote in the caption: "Yet ANOTHER dream job alert.

"My people know that ST is my life, I can pretty much mouth along to every episode of every trek.
"So to be joining the Trek universe is one of, if not the greatest moment of my professional life," he continued.
"Also, I met Jonathan Frakes this morning for the second time. AND he knew my name!"
This week he shared a little more information with excited fans on Instagram.

Sharing the trailer he wrote: "I’ve been a fan of Trek since I was old enough to comprehend it.
"I’m a hard TNG fan with a close second ToS movies. Star Trek is the guide for morality, a future sign posted beyond the incredibly fallible and awful present.
"So proud to be part of this. With this incredible group of humans. The fire starter for a whole new world of trek," he added.
Fans flocked to the comment section to congratulate Rob on the job.
"That's f****** awesome," one wrote, while another said: "Mate I can't wait for this!!"
"This looks fantastic! Borg or not, we will love you," said a third.
The actor, 40, hasn't revealed details about his character, but he has told fans that he's not playing Borg.
