Love Island fans work out killer twist that will decide which couple are AXED as dumped stars return

LOVE Island fans reckon they've sussed a killer twist which will determine which couple is given the boot days before the final.

It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed how two stars have been dumped - and have already left the ITV2 villa.

We were first to report how the duo - who are exclusive - have packed their bags and exited the Mallorca compound.

Now viewers are convinced they know just how the Love Island partners will be given their packing orders - and from who.

They believe the return of the former dumped Islanders - teased at the end of Friday's show - will mean they make the decision on who is dumped.

One Love Island fan took to Reddit to muse how it will be the former stars of the 2024 Love Island cast line up who will make the decision, similar to in this year's All Stars instalment.

One took to the forum to post: "For All Stars it was actually the opposite they had to vote who they wanted to leave so it will be interesting to see how they do it!"

Another reasoned: "In All Stars, they voted for which couple they should dump and I could see most of them voting for Joey and Jessy just because most Islanders who got dumped when they became a couple haven’t mentioned them for a couple they want to win.

"And I don't think Joey is liked by most of them."

Another put: "I think it will be vote to evict. Vote to save was done on Love Island Games which was created by Peacock and ITV proceeded to Love Island All Stars and do vote to evict.

"I think they’ll do vote to evict and vote to evict brings more drama."

One then commented: "If it’s a vote to dump like All Stars then it’ll be between Joey/Jessy and Ayo/Jess going home."

Another quipped: "S11 has been bad vibes all the way so I’m sure it will be vote to dump not vote to save.

"Why miss one last opportunity to have everyone hate each other??"

Aside from Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel, who are the only official boyfriend and girlfriend in the villa, each pair received at least one vote.

This means of the remaining couples, either Sean and Matilda Draper, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, Ayo Odukoya and Jess S, and Joey Essex and Jessy Potts have been given the boot.

A source exclusively opened up to The Sun about the return of the dumped Islanders - insisting they have "scores to settle."

They told us: "A number of the dumped islanders have scores to settle - when they leave they can watch footage of what really went on and they’ll relish the chance to say their piece.

“Islanders like Samantha are desperate to speak up about her treatment from Joey, for example."

It is a twist inspired by the All Star jury, as seen on January’s legends edition.

Yet viewers have already blasted the turn of events as a "fix" - claiming Joey Essex will meddle in the outcome.

They reckon Josh and Mimii will be hot on the heels of Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins, who were dumped from the villa earlier this week.

It remains to be seen how the scenes play out on Sunday's ITV2 episode, airing at 9pm.
