Sean Stone got a text that instructed them to go off in their pairs and pick the two couples they believed wouldn't last on the outside.

Aside from Ciaran and Nicole, who are the only official boyfriend and girlfriend in the villa, each pair received at least one vote which automatically placed them at risk.

One of the remaining couples, Sean and Matilda, Mimii and Josh, Ayo and Jess S, and Joey and Jessy Potts will be going home on Sunday night.

A teaser clip at the end of Sunday's episode revealed another incredible twist that fans can look forward to.

The Sun revealed Welsh duo Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel are the ones to beat on this year’s Love Island, with odds of them winning at 1/3.

They’ve had a strong connection since day one and are currently the only pair to have made their romance 'official' in the villa.
