EASTENDERS fans were shocked to spot a huge technical blunder while watching the latest episode of the soap.
Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) made the horrifying decision to smother his wife to death in Albert Square last night.
He could be seen breaking down in tears while leaning on a wall for support after committing the horrible deed.
Debbie has been comatose for a year, and as Reiss faced mounting debts, he decided he needed her life insurance more than he wanted her to recover.
But it wasn't Reiss viewers were focused on as he let the reality of his actions sink in.
Instead, many were left distracted when a gap in the set dressing caught their eye.

One EastEnders fan took to X to point out that you could see the wooden backing for another set in the scene.
He asked: "Did anyone catch the camera shot blip? You can see the back of other sets on the right."
One person responded: "S**t that’s bad."
Another gasped: "Oh s**t!"

Someone else shared: "I noticed it as soon as I watched the scene."
Meanwhile one viewer expressed their sympathy for the cameraman, saying that he will probably get fired for the mistake.
It comes after soap lovers already made fun of the scene for another reason.
Fans pointed out that Debbie looked far too glam to be in a coma.
One jokingly asked: "Who’s putting Debbie’s lipgloss and lil hourglass veil foundation on every morning? Is that what Reiss is paying extra for?"
Killer Reiss could be a rare mistake for EastEnders
The Sun's Soaps Editor Carl Greenwood fears EastEnders killer twist may be a huge mistake...
SOAPS always work best when there’s a raging killer on the loose - and now EastEnders are testing that theory.
When you think of iconic serial killers in soap - it’s always the ones that enjoy it that go down in history.
Corrie’s Richard Hillman and Pat Phelan, and Emmerdale’s delicious Meena Jutla - murders never seemed to be a chore for them.
Viewers like to watch people enjoying themselves - even if their favourite past time involves going through their neighbours like a knife through butter.
The least favourite killers are guilt-stricken murderers who blunder their way through killings wishing they hadn’t. It’s dull and not enjoyable as a viewer.
I fear creepy drip Reiss Colwell could be the latter. Especially if the soap falls into the trap only killing off inconsequential characters like Debbie.
So should he kill again - and we don’t know that he will - please, please let him enjoy it.
Otherwise we’re in for a bumpy road to the 40th when there’s so much promise.
