Love Island villa rocked by most savage dumping yet as two stars are axed just days before final

TWO Love Island stars have been axed from the villa in a brutal dumping just days before the final, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

Islanders had one eye on Monday's grand finale having come through Casa Amor and a number of savage dumpings and recouplings.

But two stars, who we are not naming, were given the boot yesterday, with scenes set to air later this week.

A source said: "The Islanders felt they were going all the way to final night so the double dumping came as a huge shock.

"They're nervous now that bosses might have more surprise twists in the coming days.

"The atmosphere in the villa has been good this week with the Grafties, family reunions and the talent show - but the dumping has made things feel very real all of a sudden."

Prior to the dumping, the couples still in the villa were Joey and Jessy, Josh and Mimii, Grace and Reuben, Sean and Matilda, Jess and Ayo, and Ciaran and Nicole.

Viewers may welcome the dramatic dumping after being left unimpressed by last night's talent show episode.

It was labelled the "cringiest ever" as fans slammed the lack of talent on offer after the Islanders revealed their 'secret skills'.

Performances included Matilda's toe-curling puppet show, Joey's freestyle rap, Ayo's flute tooting and Jessy's stilt walking.

Sean talked about sweets, Grace led a fitness class and Reuben performed a Singin' in the Rain routine.

Mimii's singing was the highlight of the show, but ultimately couldn't save the episode from a fan mauling.

One fan ranted: "This is the most cringiest talent show in love island history" while another said: "OMG this is awful!"

"Why another with the talent show? they have no talent!" hit out another one.

Another viewer vented: "Mimii was good, but the rest just made it up as they went along!"
