‘She’s gorgeous!’ scream Aftersun viewers as Maya Jama’s mum is spotted in the audience

LOVE Island: Aftersun viewers were left shocked as Maya Jama's gorgeous mum was spotted in the audience last night.

Sadie, 47, bowled over reality fans with her stunning good looks on the spin-off show, which her daughter hosts, yesterday.

The Swedish beauty was briefly seen at the beginning of the episode after Maya, 29, announced her attendance.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "Maya Jama's mum is GORG!" with another adding: "MAYA, THAT’S MUM? Wow."

A third agreed: "Wow, Maya’s mum, it makes sense," as someone else chimed in with: "Maya’s mum is GORGEOUS…"

Maya was born in Bristol when her mum was just was 18.

Sadie is of Swedish descent, while Maya's father Hussein is of Somali descent.

Her mum named her daughter after the US author and poet Maya Angelou.

Sadie previously appeared alongside her famous daughter in All Round To Mrs Brown’s Boys.

Maya is incredibly close to her mum and also her brother Omar.

The star often talks about the great relationship she has with her mother.

She even told to the  that she reckons the smaller parent-daughter age-gap has brought them even closer over the years.

Maya explained: ";She had me at 18, so our relationship was a bit different. I rebelled less because I was quite free. 

"My mum's always been like, 'I want you to have your experiences—just tell me. I'm not going to judge you or shout at you.'' 

However, she did admit that sometimes Sadie takes the "cool mum" vibe a bit too far.

Maya confessed: "She's banned from my parties though. She gets too drunk."

She also admitted they often get mistaken for sisters, adding: "All my boyfriends and friends that were guys fancied her."
