The reality star also shared a selection of childhood photographs and described herself as "daddy's little girl".

Rosie's announcement comes a week after she took a step back from her socials to be with her family at an "extremely difficult time".

Beginning her new post with a white dove, white heart and the date "11.07.24", Rosie said: "I don’t think I’ll ever come to understand why this has happened, words cannot even begin to express the pain I feel, the sadness feels endless knowing there is a piece of me missing that nothing will be able to fill 💔

"Though we may be apart, you will always be in my heart and I will hold onto and cherish our memories forever 💫

Exactly one week ago, Rosie told fans that she would be taking a break away from social media due to a difficult family matter.

It now transpires that she shared the message on the day her father passed away.

Rosie had said at the time: "I'm going to be taking some time off of social media to be with my family at this extremely difficult time."

She asked for any urgent messages to be sent to her management team.

Rosie appeared in the 2023 winter series of Love Island in South Africa and dated Casey O'Gorman on the show.

But despite leaving the villa together, their relationship ended as soon as they arrived back in the UK.

Rosie said on YouTube: "Coming back to the UK we barely spoke if I'm honest.

"We were both with friends and family. That's fine but for me, I think I did reach out and I didn't really hear anything back."

She added: "I felt there was not any effort made.

"I think the doubts that I had in the villa became very apparent when we left Love Island and I feel it just confirmed what I was thinking."
