Chloe, 23, and Jack, 32, said dating other people made them realise what they were missing and as a result found their way back to each other.

But they said the key to making their romance a success is to let go of the past and to work on their "insecurities".

Jack said on On the Record with Chloe B podcast: "I wasn't surprised by each other as we've always stayed together for years.

"There was no surprises, we have a laugh everyday and we say it's like spending each day with your best mate."

Chloe said: "Moving in together either makes or breaks a relationship and I feel like before we moved in together our relationship was good.

"But one of the questions I got asked on my Q&A was what advice you would give for someone who has been on/off for a long time and they're trying again.

"As much as we're sitting here laughing and saying everything is great, which it is.

"I think getting back with someone you've been on/off with for a long time is really hard."

Jack shared: "If you think five years for us, a lot of water goes under the bridge for us.

"We've both had other relationships, my mum always used to say to me 'you've had it right in front of you all along who you should be with'.

"If you always end up finding a way back to each other there's got to be something in it.

"But to move forward, them two people got back together and keep going on about the past it ain't going to work, is it?

"Me and you, we both know what's happened, we both know the past, but I don't give a s***."

The pair admitted that they would call each up up while on other dates and will fill each other in on their nightmare experiences.

Chloe continued: "There has been stages when we have brought it up, we are both as jealous as each other," with Jack saying: "We're only human."

The brunette stunner went on: "Because we've dated before and been together romantically and just been friends, we tell each other things like 'I just went on a date with this person'.

"Now obviously that would never happen."

"There were times when we were just mates and we would tell each other about it," Jack shared.

"We'd just slag off the date we'd been on. I was once on a date with someone and I just FaceTimed Chloe while I was on the date."

But the reality star couple said they've worked out how to let go of the past and move on.

Jack said: "If you're willing to let all the water under the bridge go and you're willing to move forward then go for it. If you keep finding yourself back together, there's got to be something in it."

While Chloe added: "It's about getting over your insecurities, I'm not perfect, I'll be the first to admit that.

"I'm not happy that Jack is going away to Kavos hosting a pool party," with Jack laughing: "I'm a sex icon out there."

It comes after The Sun revealed that they pair are getting even closer and a proposal is looking likely.

According to their inner circle, the ex-Towie star has even given Jack a 'deadline' for when she wants to be an engaged woman by.

A friend told The Sun: “Jack and Chloe have been on and off for years. Their relationship has been going from strength to strength since they decided to give it a proper go and now they’re head over heels."

And it seems that getting a place together proved a successful test for their relationship, convincing Chloe that Jack is the man for her.

The pal continued: "After moving in, getting engaged feels like the natural next step. She’s told him she wants to be engaged by the end of the year.”

Chloe and Jack have had quite the tumultuous relationship over the years after first getting together in 2019.

They were plagued by "jealous rows" in the early days of their relationship, with Jack allegedly struggling with "the attention Chloe gets from other guys".
