Love Island fans think Sean has ‘worked out’ he’s getting to the final after incredible date with Matilda

LOVE Island fans are convinced producers are trying to land one couple a place in the final - and Sean has worked it out.

In a show first in Friday night's episode, Sean and Matilda were gifted a convertible sports car to drive to their date.

The pair then enjoyed a stunning dinner by the sea as they put to bed their struggle over Casa Amor.

Now viewers believe it was a clever way to earn a place in the Love Island final.

One said: "Producers want Sean in the final so bad. He’s made it this far off sympathy votes."

Another added: I think we have to just accept that producers want Sean and Matilda in this final."

Someone else said: "Sean and Matilda get a flashy car for their date!? Definitely an agenda to get them into the final for sure."

A viewer added: "Sean really thinks he’s going to see h th final with Matilda. 'My antics in casa'. bro for real."

Fans previously feared the couple were over when gobsmacked Matilda watched Sean shamelessly flirt with multiple girls in the villa during Movie Night.

At one point he was seen kissing Casa Amor girl Diamanté, later kissing again while they were in bed together. 

He was also seen “enjoying this experience for what it is” calling Diamanté his “priority”. 

After the clip finished, Sean tried to brush it off as “nothing new”, but Matilda hit back, saying he downplayed what he’d said to Diamanté despite her giving him the opportunity to be honest.

“For me, to the boys I made it clear that you were still my priority full stop,” she told him. 

“No, you actually got closed down by Hugo,” Sean swiped, “If he’d have carried on with you, it would’ve been a different story.” 

An infuriated Matilda told him that a conversation does not mean hitting on him, and wasn’t the same as kissing other girls. 

“When the f**k did I get closed down by Hugo?!” she yelled.

However, they've put their difference in opinions aside and moved on.

Sean even popped the question to Matilda, asking her if she wanted to be "exclusive".
