Two Emmerdale favourites fight for their lives in first look at explosive stunt – as Corrie star joins rival soap
AT least TWO Emmerdale favourites will be left fighting for their life in a dramatic barn fire this autumn.
The ITV soap is lining up a huge stunt for autumn and now The Sun can reveal that feuding sisters-in-law Moira Dingle and Ruby Fox-Miligan will be left fighting for their lives.
New producer Sophie Roper recently teased the big stunt and promised it would be explosive.
She told The Sun last week: “As much as we've got the hard-hitting story there, we've got a lot of stunts coming up.
“So we're actually filming this week. I'm not going to tell you too much, but what I can tell you is there will be fire engines involved.
“So take from that what you will. And it's going to be a really explosive week of Emmerdale.”

Now filming pictures have revealed the dramatic fire as a host of other characters fight to save the women.
It is the first look at former Coronation Street star Oliver Farnworth joining the soap as the mysterious John Sugden.
An onlooker said: “It looks very dramatic. You could see Oliver’s character John rush into the fire and emerge from the smoke carrying a limp body.
“The soap is pushing the boat out with the big scenes but it looks like at least two huge characters are facing death.

“Moira and Ruby’s feud has taken a back seat to other huge drama these last few months but it looks like it could all ramp up again and potentiall be devastating for both women and their families.
“And with Emmerdale there’s always a twist so even more could be in true peril.”
The source added: “All the big characters are there. Cain and Caleb and their sister Chas and newcomer John.
"Even Will Taylor's there so Kim Tate won't be far from the drama either.
“There’s real danger and anyone of them could be about to meet their maker.”
Fire engines were on set for the big stunt.
Cain Dingle actor Jeff Hordley, Chas Dingle star Lucy Pargeter, Will Taylor actor Dean Andrews and Caleb Milligan star William Ash were all pictured alongside Oliver filming the dramatic scenes.
Oliver’s arrival as John will spark a mystery in the village as Victoria Sugden discovers he is a long-lost relative.
Described as “brooding and mysterious” and packed full of secrets, John will shock Victoria when he arrives in the village in August.
He’s set to become deeply entwined with the rich history of the Sugden family and also catch the eye of an unsuspecting resident.
Emmerdale Producer, Laura Shaw, said: “We are thrilled to have an actor with Oliver's talent and presence join the Emmerdale family.
“The Sugden's have always been central to Emmerdale, and introducing a new member opens up exciting possibilities for future storylines.
“Mysterious John's arrival will no doubt create a stir in the village for Victoria and the wider community."
