What's happened so far in Love Island 2024?
Joey Essex's arrival
The launch show kicked off with fireworks when The Only Way Is Essex legend Joey Essex became the first Love Island celebrity bombshell.
The reality TV star revealed he was desperate to find love after a string of failed relationships that he applied to be on the dating show.
Thrilled ITV bosses launched a military-style operation to keep his arrival in the Love Island villa under wraps.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun before going on the show, Joey said: “I feel like Joey Bond, the name’s Essex, Joey Essex.
"It felt like a military operation, not even the journey itself but the process of even getting through the application and to this point.
“I got on the plane to Ibiza. I made sure I wore my mask when I went out for dinner and then we got the boat over to Majorca to a villa hidden in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.
“I’m extremely single right now, so I’m praying that I’m going to walk out of the villa hand in hand with the love of my life. That’s my main aim and all I care about."
Love triangle
As soon as the show started the first love triangle was formed.
It came in the form of Harriett Blackmore, Jess White and Ronnie Vint.
The footballer was originally coupled up with Jess, then he flirted with Harriett before going back to his original girl.
However, Jess had enough and told Harriett she was "welcome to Ronnie".
Grace steals Joey
When from Sam Taylor, which resulted in the hairdresser being dumped from the villa.
However, after two weeks together the former Towie's star head turned full circle when his ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson arrived in the villa.
Joey didn't miss a beat in getting back together with the blonde bombshell and dumping Samantha.
As the Liverpool lass was left single, she was dumped from the villa.
Jessy steals Joey
They do say karma can come back to haunt you, and that appeared to be what happened to poor Grace.
It all started when bombshell Jessy Potts arrived in the villa and asked Joey out on a date.
Sparks immediately flew between the pair leaving Grace vulnerable.
After playing the two women off against each other, Joey then set his heart on Jessy and the pair coupled up - leaving .
Ciaran vs Harriett
During a game of Never Have I Ever things got heated between Ciaran Davies and Harriet.
The Welsh rugby player didn't hold back as he accused the dancer of being "two-faced".
He was heard venting: "People will make comments and then straight after be all nice to me and say, for instance 'ah you need to be careful with him' but then 'ah you're actually really good Ciaran with her, you treat her so well'."
Harriett then retorted: "Cool. When you're making comments about other islanders and I'm having a conversation with my friend, I'm going to say that.
"Honestly you're so immature it's actually embarrassing."
But it was Ciaran who had the last word, and sarcastically remarked: "I haven't been second choice like three times in here, so."
Shock eviction
It's fair to say Ronnie and Harriet didn't see their shock eviction coming.
After finally getting together following the Jess drama, the pair were riding high in the villa.
But in a twist, the Islanders learned that the public had voted for their favourite couples
It was then revealed that Harriett and Ronnie were the least popular and therefore dumped from the villa.
Casa Amor
Every year the Islanders dread Casa Amor.
This stage of Love Island sees the existing cast getting to know newcomers to the ITV dating show - six new boys and six new girls.
For 2024, fans were left feeling heartbroken for Mimii Ngulube following a dramatic recoupling after Casa.
Before heading off to the other villa, the student nurse was in a couple with Ayo Odukoya.
However, the test of Casa Amor proved to much for him and he opted to recouple with newcomer Jessica Spencer.
The pair had grown extremely close over the few days they'd had together.
Mimii, on the other hand, chose to stay loyal to Ayo - only to find herself single in the villa.
Taking to X, viewers shared their thoughts over the upsetting moment, which left Mimii heartbroken.
One wrote: "@Ofcom imma need you to investigate what Ayo just did to Mimii on #LoveIsland."
Another raged: "If Ayo gives Mimii any attitude at all it's time to burn that villa down! Where's that link for ofcom complaints #loveIsland."
Movie Night
Another part of Love Island that always causes a stir is the infamous Movie Night.
The villa was treated to a series of films, including titles like 'The Mat-Hil-Da's Have Eyes' and 'Wild Wil West'.
Secrets came out fast as hidden actions were revealed for everyone to see.
Uma Jammeh was left heartbroken after she was shown clips of her man Wil Anderson in Casa Amor with Lucy Graybill.
In one of the clips, Wil told Lucy that his type was "petite blondes" - the opposite of Uma.
He also asked Lucy to stay in his bed, contradicting the story he had told Uma upon her return from Casa Amor.
A tearful Uma was shown crying as she tells Wil: "You f****** embarrassed me, and you embarrassed yourself, you f****** loser."
Islander quits
The Sun exclusively revealed that Uma had sensationally quit Love Island.
Fans watched as Wil was dumped from the Love Island villa after new bombshell Reuben Collins tried to steal Uma.
After her man was told to "pack his bags and leave the villa immediately", she broke down in tears and announced that she was "leaving too".
I knew where my head and heart was at and it’s with Wil so I wanted to be true to my feelings for him.
Uma Jammeh
Just before exiting the show, the pair sat on the day beds and said "I love you" to each other.
After quitting the show, Uma revealed her reasons for leaving Love Island.
Speaking to ITV she said: "I knew where my head and heart was at and it’s with Wil so I wanted to be true to my feelings for him."
Jess Glynne surprises the islanders
The islanders were thrown a pool party away from the villa.
They got an even bigger treat when Jess Glynne surprised them with a mini concert.
