Love Island viewers threaten to call Ofcom after ‘distressing’ Casa Amor recoupling
LOVE Island fans have been left feeling heartbroken for one islander following a dramatic recoupling.
Over the past few days, the existing cast had been getting to know newcomers to the ITV dating show - six new boys and six new girls.
Prior to Casa Amor, Ayo Odukoya and Mimii Ngulube had decided to couple up.
However, the test of Casa was whether they - and their fellow islanders - could resist temptation and not have their head turned by a new connection.
When decision time came, Ayo opted to recouple with newcomer Jessica Spencer.
The pair had grown extremely close over the few days they'd had together.

Mimii, on the other hand, chose to stay loyal to Ayo - only to find herself single in the villa.
Taking to X, viewers shared their thoughts over the upsetting moment, which left Mimii heartbroken.
One wrote: "@Ofcom imma need you to investigate what Ayo just did to Mimii on #LoveIsland."
Another raged: "If Ayo gives Mimii any attitude at all it's time to burn that villa down! Where's that link for ofcom complaints #loveIsland."
A third commented: "I think Mimii is dealing with it in the best way she can. Ayo can't expect anything more than she's giving atm.
"Ayo had to go with his best connection and I think he's been forcing it a bit with Mimii... it seems more natural and instant with Jess... #LoveIslandUK."
Fans at home have seen Ayo's attraction to Jessica, including jumping up to kiss her during the "Raunchy Races" game.
Prior to the recoupling, Ayo told Jessica he'd have "had a girlfriend" on the first day if she'd been at the villa from the beginning.
Over in Casa Amor, Mimii had rejected the advances of new boy Lionel Awudu.
Having asked her to share a bed, Lionel didn't quite get the response he'd hoped for.
Mimii told him: "I'm sleeping outside tonight, just for tonight."
Back at the main villa, Jessica had asked Ayo: “What’s your type?”
