REISS Colwell’s dark secret is revealed as comatose wife Debbie is in danger in EastEnders.
The character - played by Jonny Freeman - has been stressing about money for a number of weeks after losing a major client.
Matters have been made worse by the fact that he and his partner Sonia have been going through IVF treatment in a bid to have a baby together.
The treatment is far from cheap, and it's becoming more and more difficult for Reiss to find the money to contribute to funding their dream.
He started to use his comatose wife Debbie's money instead, and in upcoming EastEnders episodes, his decision comes back to haunt him.
In the scenes, Sonia is nervous as she heads in for her embryo transfer.
