I was on Celebs Go Dating – I walked off set after ‘fake filming’ and unfamous celebs did my head in, claims TikTok star
CELEBS Go Dating has been slammed by a TikTok star who accused the show of being fake.
He said he walked off set after hours of filming retakes and listening to celebrities talking "s**t".
TikToker and journalist Mark Carling hit out in a sweary rant to his 124,000 followers.
He claimed he'd been approached because of his large social media following but had never watched Celebs Go Dating.
He said: "I just walked off Celebs Go Dating. What a pile of s**t. I should have watched the show first.
"It is the cringiest thing I have ever seen in my life. So they get like 30 people, and they get like six celebrities, that I have never heard of.

"Then the celebrities come out. And you have to retake it. Over and over, that was driving me f*****g mental.
"As I was standing there, waiting for their turn to end. F**k me that was long.
"Now most of the people are quite nice but some of the people talk absolute s**t. And I am unable to stand there and listen to that s**t because I value my time."
Mark went on: "And I don't feel like competing for a celebrity is 'my thing'. I'm not a Love Island guy, and I think that is where they miss-cast me. Because I am not a candidate for Love Island, because that would really do my f*****g head in."
Marky continued to chastise the show in his video caption.
He reiterated: "I would like to thank the production company for shortlisting me to the final mixer.
"But Celebs Go Dating is definitely not for me.
"I would rather do my podcast and have honest real interviews, write about real world issues and improve the world, reality TV is not for me.
"On a completely separate note, I also now realise how amazing my life is."
However, some fans of the show spoke out in its defence.
One commented: "What did you expect?"
Another said: "I don’t believe you sorry."
A third wrote: "U mean they didn’t like u lol."
And an insider also told us that Mark didn’t actually meet any celebs on the set.
