EASTENDERS viewers have already taken issue with a show newcomer's ‘annoying habit'.
The BBC soap has just introduced three new Mitchells to the iconic family - Teddy (Roland Manookian), as well as his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman).
Teddy is the newly revealed half-brother of Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and part of a branch of the family that neither Billy or Phil (Steve McFadden) knew existed.
It comes as Stevie (Alan Ford), father to both Billy and Teddy, resurfaced in Billy's life after decades in scenes aired earlier this year.
However, some viewers have already shared their annoyance over a noticeable feature of Teddy's appearance.
They have shared their distaste for the character's fashion choices, in particular his preppy jumper-over-the-shoulders look.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan remarked: "I'm going to need the EastEnders costume department to delete Teddy's jumper drapped around his shoulders ASAP.
"I can't watch this unnatural fashion item placed around his neck for the next year."
Another expressed their dismay, as they penned: "It's been 30 seconds and I need the newbie to remove his jumper from around his shoulders. #EastEnders."
A third commented: "As much as I didn't want more thuggish Mitchell's running around the square, I quite like teddy (for now), but that jumper scarf thing has got to go #EastEnders."

While a fourth chimed in: "I wonder if sweater weather is like Junior with his suit and keeps his sweater on his shoulders while bathing and having sex".
Yet another viewer questioned the practicality of Teddy's clothing choice: "This new cricketer helps himself into someone's house and honeys expression so casual.
"What's with that pink sweater in 30 degrees heat ? Just come off the cricket pitch?"
At first looking for his "missing" father, Teddy was contacted by Walford General Hospital as Stevie's next of kin following an accident.
He interrupted a conversation between Stevie and Will (Freddie Phillips), where Stevie pretended to not know his grandson.
With his curiosity piqued, Teddy headed to Albert Square while telling Harry and Barney to get familiar with the area.
As they interacted with locals, Teddy observed Billy and Will, before ultimately approaching the teenager in the Square's gardens.
Recognising that Will cared for Stevie, Teddy took him to the Queen Vic to ask more questions about the Mitchell family.
