Renee Zellweger’s boyfriend Ant Anstead signs up for new reality series – and A-list star could make an appearance
The Bridget Jones star and car mechanic have been dating for the past three years
RENEE ZELLWEGER’S boyfriend, Ant Anstead has landed a brand new reality series – with the Bridget Jones actress possibly making an appearance or two.
Today it was announced that Ant will front a new TV show, tentatively titled Ant Anstead: The Naked Mechanic.

The eight-episode series will follow the motor specialist as he tries to restore a 500-year-old Bedfordshire farmhouse he’s bought for his mum and dad.
The star, famed for Master Mechanics and Wheeler Dealers, hopes that his skills in car restoration will come in handy when it comes to home renovation.
According to the official announcement, Ant quickly discovers the mission is easier said than done, and he has to use his skills as a mechanic to buy, restore and sell old cars to turn a profit he can then put into the restoration.
The series will see him transform cars including a Land Rover Series 3, Alfa Romeo Alfasud and Jaguar XJS.

He will also get a helping hand from family and friends, which potentially includes Oscar-winning actress Reneé, whom he’s been dating since 2021.
Ant said of the series: "I am so excited to finally be sharing this project. This is a huge scary leap for me, a reality show that shares my family and this crazy ambitious dream.”

Jeremy and Ant first worked together on the For The Love Of Cars in 2014, which became a massive hit for petrolheads across the UK.

Ant and Reneé have been dating since 2021, when they met on the set of Discovery+ series, Celebrity IOU Joyride.

The series sees celebrities celebrate deserving people in their lives with refurbished cars.
Reneé gave a car to twin brothers Jerome and Jerald, who had looked after her friend and former publicist Nanci Ryder after she was diagnosed with ALS.
Ant later teased the romance by telling People: “I'm really grateful to the show because these amazing things happen in your world and sometimes when things collide, they collide at the most obscure times when you least expect them, and that's what happened in this case."
The couple went public with their relationship that July, but have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight.
However, both have been seen supporting each other’s projects, and sometimes give rare glimpses into their life online.
Ant is a father of three children from his previous marriages, Archie, Amelie and Hudson, and often shares pictures of them on his Instagram account.
He’s teased his toddler son, Hudson, calls her ‘NayNay’, and she celebrates holidays with the family.

Despite the strength of their romance, they are not believed to be engaged.
