Whether it's accidental sweary slip-ups, technical errors, or jokes that caused offence, This Morning has gone through it all.

Here are just some of the most notable errors the show has suffered over the years.

Accidental F-bomb

In January this year, hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were forced to apologise after a swear word was accidentally aired.

Teasing an upcoming segment with musician Tinie Tempah, his hit track Pass Out played in the background.

However, the song featured the f-bomb and it was left in unedited.

Dermot O'Leary apologised for the error as they returned from the ad break.

Holly and Phillip were accused of being 'too posh to queue'

Queue Jump Apology

In one of the most controversial moments to his This Morning, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were forced to apologise after they 'skipped the queue' to see Queen Elizabeth II lying in state.

Queues were almost 24 hours in length, so Phillip and Holly being allowed straight in infuriated people in Great Britain.

Their apology only seemed to make things worse.

Holly, 41, and co-host Phil, 60, did a segment addressing online claims they were “” in Westminster Hall last Friday.

Speaking over a montage of people lining to see the coffin, Holly said they went in as accredited broadcasters, adding: “It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions who weren’t able to visit in person.”

The apology received dozens of Ofcom complaints.

James Bond Blunder

James Bond fans were in uproar in 2022 when a massive spoiler about No Time To Die dropped on air.

During a huge segment based around memorabilia, the auctioneer declared a tactical suit worn by Daniel Craig as "his last ever outfit".

He later drove the point home by announcing it as ";the one he wears when he dies".

Fans were furious that the film, which had only just been in cinemas and was not yet available for wide release, was spoiled to flippantly.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were then forced to apologise.

Teleprompter nightmare

The teleprompter is a TV presenter's biggest weapon - but it also leaves room for error from time-to-time.

In 2022, Holly - who has dyslexia - jumbled her words while reading the text on their telly prompter, telling viewers to leave the room.

It later dawned on Holly that she'd essentially ordered them all to evacuate, and laughing, she added: "Oh, we leave room! Not, leave the room!"

As cameras cut to the machine, Phillip teased: "Don't transmit the autocue, if you transmit the autocue there's no need for us!

"You may as well run the autocue and you can read it at home."

The star added: "Read it for yourself, bye bye" before pretending to march off, leaving Holly in stitches.

Holly's comment to Rose Ayling-Ellis

Fans were less than impressed with Holly in 2022 after a poor choice of words to deaf Strictly Come Dancing star, Rose Ayling Ellis.

Appearing on the show with pro dancer , the Strictly 2021 champion discussed her upcoming appearance on the live tour.

Confirming they will be performing their Bafta award-winning contemporary couples' choice routine to 'Symphony' - where part of the song is done in silence in an interpretive representation of Rose's deaf experience - Holly shared her delight at the choice.

Holly then told them: "You won't be able to hear a pin drop in the arena at that moment, let me tell you. It was just a bit of magic on TV actually."

The unfortunate wording wasn't lost on viewers, with one writing on Twitter: "You could hear a pin drop' is not the best thing to say, Holly..."

Gyles's coronavirus joke fell flat to viewers

Gyles Brandreth's flop joke

Regular contributor Gyles Brandreth left viewers fuming after a joke about coronavirus.

He told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: "I'd love to tell you my favourite coronavirus joke. But it'll take you two weeks to see if you get it."

Eamonn, 60, applauded, saying: "That's an intelligent joke as well. That's what you get from that man. That's brilliant."

But, considering the episode aired in 2020, viewers who had lost fans to Covid and were in the midst of the lockdown did not see the funny side.

Host Dermot O'Leary was forced to issue an apology following the controversial outburst from guest broadcaster Nick Ferrari.

A total of 637 people logged their objections to Ofcom, following the segment which aired on ITV1 on May 28 this year.

Nick began spouting about his 'ideal' airline - and he said peanuts would NOT be banned to protect allergy sufferers.

"If you don't like peanuts, don't get on the plane either because I do and I can't eat them because someone at the back of the plane is going to drop dead or something if I have a peanut," he said.
