Who is Lucerys Velaron in House of Dragons 2?
Lucerys is the son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and her first husband, Ser Laenor Velaryon.
He is the prince of the House of Targaryen in the House of Dragons TV and book series.
Also known as Luke, the prince had a dragon named Arrax who he bonded with throughout the show.
Lucerys became embroiled in a ruthless family feud when he slashed rival Aemond Targaryen's eye out with a knife leaving him permanently blind on one side.

In the final episode, a 13-year-old Lucerys and Arrax are ultimately chased by bitter rival Aemond until the child is believed to have died.
His body was never found but he was said to have been eaten mid-flight by Aemond's dragon.
The death of Lucerys in the season one finale of House of the Dragon sparked a war between the houses in a vicious game of revenge.
In return for Lucerys death, his mother Rhaenyra ordered her henchmen find his believed killer Aemond.

Who plays Lucerys Velaron in House of Dragons?
Lucerys Velaron is played by Elliot Grihault throughout the first season of House of the Dragon.
Elliot is an 18-year-old born on January 18, 2006 in England.
House of Dragons was his first major role with him also set to star in the comedy All That Glitters.
Back in 2022, he was nominated for a Pena de Prata award for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series for the first season.

The epic second season of the Game Of Thrones prequel is available to watch on Sky Atlantic.
Episode one aired at 2am on Sunday night and is available on demand, or you can watch it in full again at 9pm tonight.

Eight new episodes are set to air each week between June 16 to the finale on August 4.
Makers HBO have already green lit a third series, which stars Brit talent including Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke and Emma D’Arcy.
As a prequel, the story in House of the Dragon takes place around 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
