Love Island in fix row as fans accuse producers of ‘setting it up’ for couple to win  

LOVE Island fans have accused bosses of setting it up so Joey Essex wins the show with Samantha Kenny.

The pair were picked to go on their first date today and were treated to a romantic roof top bar.

It comes after they were the first saved couple announced during last night’s dumping.

Despite it being made clear that it was a random order, those watching at home think there might be favouritism towards the pair and made a series of wild accusations.

One person claimed: “They’re trying to make Joey and Samantha win this show.”

A second commented: “Producers are so obvious, saying Joey and Samantha’s name first last night and putting them on this date.. Joey defo wrote in his contract he’ll come on if he wins loool.”

While a third added: “Guys they might make joey win this season.”

ITV has made it clear on numerous occasions that the show is in no way set up.

Samantha and Joey were delighted about being saved.

After branding Joey a national treasure, Sam told him: “It’s nice to feel safe though.”

Joey added: “Exactly and we got picked first.”

Samantha replied: “It’s nice that we were safe though, weren’t it. The nations favourites! Must be doing something right…”

During their date, Sam made it clear how she felt about Joey as she told him she would move to Essex.

He was flabbergasted and replied: “You what? You’d live there? You’d live there haha?!”

The pair have been coupled up since Joey arrived but fans have questioned their chemistry throughout.

Others have accused Samantha of being  a fan girl after leaving Joey uncomfortable with her in-depth knowledge of Towie.
