A STRICTLY star has landed a brand new Channel 5 show - and it's all about bees.
Steve Backshall will get up close and personal with the insects for the prime time series.
It will see the 51-year-old explore the everyday lives of bees and wasps as well as becoming a bee keeper.
Bagging the role of a apiarist, the adventurer will learn why they are so important in the two-part series.
Speaking about the new C5 show, Steve said: “Learning to keep bees might be the most wholesome enterprise I've ever taken on!
"I can’t wait to immerse my family in the wonderful world of the bee, and connect to the challenges they face in the modern world.”

The new show is worlds away from the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, which Steve did the Salsa on back in 2014.
He couldn't brave the elements of the dance floor like the wilderness and was the eight celebrity to be sent packing with his partner Ola Jordan.
Steve started his career back in 1998 with a string of documentaries for the National Geographic channel.
He went on to star on children's TV, hosting the BBC's The Really Wild Show from 2003 to 2006 as well as Deadly 60.
