EMMERDALE’S Samson Dingle sickening lies have put Matty Barton in serious danger tonight.
The troublesome teenager - who is played by actor Sam Hall in the ITV soap - has framed Matty for stabbing him when it was actually his friend Josh’s fault.
Viewers watched as Josh pushed Samson into Matty who was holding the knife, leading to him being accidentally stabbed.
In vile scenes Josh and Samson then lied and made out to the police that Matty had attacked them.
The lack of CCTV in The Hide meant that Matty’s defence about how Josh and Samson were trying to rob him put him in a dim light.
And when he later breached his bail conditions by trying to convince Samson to tell the truth, it all backfired, leaving him re-arrested.

In tonight’s episode Matty was hauled in and sent to prison.
But before he went, a kind prison guard took him aside and gave him a terrifying warning.
“Before I take you in a word of advice,” he told him.
“I know you’re trans, so does the other officer and the rest of the prison staff. However none of the other inmates do.

“It’s up to you who you tell but I wouldn’t be telling anyone.”
“Yeah,” said Matty distracted having seen his wife Amy and mum Moira at the gate.
The prison officer added: “You’ve got your own cell. For now anyway. Right in you go. Move right down to the end lad. In you go.”
But as Matty took his seat in the prison van, the other prisoners began banging and demanding to know what he was in for.
