FORMER Strictly winner Louis Smith has announced he is going to be a dad for a second time.

The Olympic gymnast and his girlfriend Charlie Bruce are expecting again following the birth of their daughter, Marley Valentina, in 2021.

Louis announced the news by sharing an image of a baby scan on instagram this evening.

He captioned the snap: "It’s so nice we had to do it twice."

The couple were soon flooded with congratulatory messages.

"Unbelievable my guy! Congratulations to you all," wrote JLS singer and pal Aston Merrygold.

Love Island star Amber Davies added: "Omg congratulations" followed by a string of heart emojis.

Former Strictly pro Ian Waite chipped in: "Aahhhhhhh congratulations."

Louis won Strictly Come Dancing back in 2012 with his partner Flavia Cacace.

He has two Olympic silver medals to his name and two bronze.

He has has two gold medals from the European Championships, and two Commonwealth Games golds.

Louis received an MBE for services to sport in 2013, and retired from gymnastics after the 2016 Summer Olympics.

He has been with his girlfriend Charlie, a jazz dancer, since November 2017.

The pair are based in Peterborough and since quitting sport, Louis has taken on several new careers.

He is a professional photographer, and works as a property developer too, flipping several investment properties.

Louis has also dabbled in acting, appearing in comedy series Murder In Successville.

He also won The Masked Dancer as Carwash in 2021.

After winning the show, he told The Sun how he has struggled financially during lockdown as work dried up.

The star said: "We're both in the entertainment world, and it's a prime example of how anything can happen of stopping your work.

"Everything stopped, there was no help from the government, we were surviving on savings I had from the bank, so it wasn't sustainable."

Choosing to make "sensible investment" to strengthen their future, Louis and Charlie bought a home to provide a "secure" environment for their little girl.

"Especially now with having a baby in the world we wanted something that was more tangible that we can secure the future with," Louis said at the time.

"In ten years time [we hope to] have multiple properties and have our future invested that way."
