Cobbles legend Charlie Lawson faces ban from running any more companies after failing to pay £50k debts
FORMER Corrie star Charlie Lawson faces a ban from running any more companies after failing to pay debts.
Lawson, who was Jim MacDonald in the soap, has missed deadlines to repay £37,000 from the 2018 failure of his Cheshire-based deli.
But debts at Prestbury’s Farm Shop have passed £50,000 with liquidators’ fees of £14,500 included.
The 64-year-old, last seen in the soap in 2018, has been threatened with legal action.
Liquidators claim Lawson and his wife Debbie “may be unfit to be involved with managing the affairs of a company in the future”.
But they also admitted there is little likelihood of any funds being available to pay creditors.
