DAN Walker has addressed his absence on air as he revealed he jetted off on a stunning family holiday.
The former BBC Breakfast star, who now hosts Channel 5 News, enjoyed downtime with his loved ones in Greece.
His lavish break away in the sun also meant he missed his Classic FM morning show.
Sharing a selection of snaps from his trip to Athens, Dan told fans how he had "never been to a city with so much graffiti".
The 47-year-old added how he, wife Sarah and their three children visited places such as The Acropolis & Parthenon, Lycabettus Hill and Syntagma Square.
He said: "Loved the historical significance of standing in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul on Mars Hill.
